CLINF coordinator Birgitta Evengård is one of the authors of the five white papers that EU-PolarNet now presents at the conference in Davos, Switzerland.
Under leadership of the EU-PolarNet initiative five cross-disciplinary groups of scientists have prepared white papers on pressing research issues regarding climate change and effects on society and on the environment. These documents are currently presented to the Polar Community at a side event entitled EU-PolarNet: European priorities in polar research – Results of an expert workshop on identifying European key research priorities for both poles. The side event takes place today, 19 June, and Birgitta is on site in Davos.
