Summer fellowships in Austria available: IIASA YSSP

2019-01-09

Opportunity for PhD students to perform focused research in an international and interdisciplinary environment.

Every summer from 1 June to 31 August, the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) hosts up to 50 doctoral students from around the world in its Young Scientists Summer Program (YSSP). Each YSSP participant works on a topic related to his or her PhD thesis and to IIASA’s own research agenda, the goal being to write a publishable paper. All YSSP participants are personally mentored by IIASA senior scientists.
Applicants should be advanced graduate students and work in fields that complement the research at IIASA. Deadline for applications is mid January. For more information see the Flyer-YSSP or go to http://www.iiasa.ac.at/web/home/education/yssp/about.html.
